EarthWorks, formerly EarthWorks Institute, is an environmental youth development program offered by The Center for Youth. Our team focuses on cultivating 21st Century Skills and delivering experiential education, with an emphasis on wellness and the outdoors. By partnering with community leaders and educators, our programs have the power to build healthy bonds between students, our land, and our local communities.
EarthWorks programs are led by highly trained, diversely practiced learning guides, with over 20 years of experience in developing environmental and educational programs. We educate, inspire, and empower youth to connect with themselves and their world through meaningful experiences. Above all else, we aim to provide opportunities for youth in the Greater Rochester Region to develop social, emotional, and academic experiences that cultivate a shared responsibility for local stewardship and a future of greater equity.
We inspire healing and personal growth through nature immersion and mentoring programs.
– Individuals can supplement treatment with wilderness healing
– Community leaders can provide unique recreation programs
– Groups can register for group workshops
Partnering with educators, EarthWorks develops hands-on curriculum for STEM learning and educational enrichment. Programs are crafted to suit the administrators to sustain an impact in their communities.
Our expert team of environmental science, forestry, and education experts are at the heart of what we do. They facilitate safe, nature-based programs to develop skills and experiences that connect individuals with their world.
