At EarthWorks Institute, our mission is to improve the quality of life for residents of the Greater Rochester area through educational and mentoring programs that teach valuable life-skills and social responsibility. We make this happen by partnering with the Greater Rochester community to develop programs that build healthy, lasting, bonds between land and community.
EarthWorks Institute programs are led by our Forest Guides and are comprised of highly trained, diversely practiced professionals, with over 20 years of experience in developing environmental and educational programs. We educate, inspire, and empower people to reconnect with themselves and their world through meaningful experience. Above all else, our goal is to create social and environmental sustainability in the Greater Rochester Region by building a shared responsibility for local stewardship and a future of greater equity.
We inspire healing and personal growth through nature immersion and mentoring programs.
